Our team of legal professionals help injured victims receive just compensation for injuries and damages that have impacted their lives.  You want to hire a legal team that is experienced and caring.

Scott Mattoch has recently returned home to Hawaii.  With his experience in business and real estate law on both the East and West Coasts, Scott has honed his negotiation skills.  While he is aggressive with the insurance adjusters and their counsel, Scott’s reputation of being a client favorite is apparent; his clients are not shy about singing his praises in social media reviews.

Scott graduated Magna Cum Laude from Santa Clara University and was awarded membership to the Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Sigma Alpha honor societies.

Scott grew up in Kailua, and graduated from Punahou School in 1991.  He received an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Santa Clara University in 1995, and his law degree from the University of Hawaii in 1998.  In 2007, Scott was awarded a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.

Scott is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association, Colorado State Bar Association, and the Hawaii Association for Justice, a consumer-oriented legal association.  He has argued cases before Federal and State of Hawaii judges and juries including the Hawaii Supreme Court.

Over the years, Dan Kirley has built a reputation for being a strong advocate for his clients.  He has worked on numerous cases with complicated negligence and medical facts.  Dan presents his cases analytically and with clear and concise understanding of the law.  These strengths have enabled Dan’s success over the 27 years he’s been with the Law Offices of Ian Mattoch.

Dan was named “Best Lawyer” by The Best Lawyers of America© in the areas of Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs, and Product Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs.  This award was published in US News & World Report© and Honolulu Magazine©’s Best Lawyers magazines.  In 2014, Dan was selected to Super Lawyers.

Having grown up in Honolulu, Dan graduated from Punahou School in 1986.  He received a BA from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1990, and a JD from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in California in 1993.

Dan is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association, and the Hawaii Association for Justice, a consumer-oriented legal association.  He has worked on over a dozen appellate cases, including five cases that resulted in published opinions.  Dan has been selected both as a private arbitrator and as an arbitrator in the Court Annexed Arbitration Program.
